To finalize and secure your Electric Forest transportation in our shuttle vans or private SUV transports, please review our accepted payment methods and booking rules below.
To officially book a seat in our shuttle van or secure a private SUV booking, you must be able to pay your fees using the following options:

Service Notice: Due to high demand and festival logistics, seats are limited to 11 per run to ensure ample space for camping gear, tents, and coolers. All times include a 15-minute loading buffer.

Pickup Location: Shuttles depart from the Commercial Ground Transportation area at Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR). Head to the Airport Commercial Ground Transportation Pickup Area, and our DriveU Driver will be waiting for you in one of our White or Black vans with our logo.

The "Forest Factor" Buffer: While the drive is normally 60 minutes, please prepare for total travel times of up to 2 hours on Wednesday and Thursday due to security checkpoints and local congestion.

Monday Departure: Return times will be assigned upon booking. All Monday shuttles are scheduled to arrive at GRR 3 hours prior to your flight time to account for the "Exodus" traffic bottleneck.

The "No-Strand" Guarantee: While rideshare apps often "ghost" the Rothbury area on Monday, DriveU is local and professional. We don't leave until our scheduled passengers are on their way to the airport. Passengers have a time window to prepare for pickup, so be prepared to meet this standard for departure.

Important Booking Note: The Sunday Early Exit is a premium service and is not included in the standard Monday Round-Trip package.

Why the fee? Sunday runs are limited-capacity "Express" trips designed to bypass the 6-hour Monday exit lines. We cap these runs to ensure you get to Grand Rapids quickly and comfortably.
Why can't I just use their Monday ticket on Sunday??
Our Monday shuttle is a high-volume, pre-scheduled service. The Sunday Early Exit is a specialized, low-density 'Express' run designed for speed. Because these seats are extremely limited and require a separate logistics plan to beat the festival traffic, they are priced as a Premium Upgrade.

Designated Departure Point: To bypass the 4+ hour internal campground exit lines, DriveU operates from a Priority Pickup Zone near the Double JJ Resort entrance or a selected pickup zone. The exact GPS pin and arrival instructions will be sent to your registered mobile number 24 hours before departure. This ensures we use the most efficient, traffic-free route available on that specific day.

The 15-Minute Rule: To ensure our passengers don't miss their flights, shuttles depart exactly 15 minutes after the scheduled time. Please arrive at the designated zone early with your gear packed and ready to load.

Gear Capacity: To maintain safety and comfort, space is strictly reserved for one (1) tent and one (1) large bag per passenger. If you have oversized items (large wagons, multiple coolers, etc.), please contact us in advance to book a Private SUV.
