In 2019, while exploring various small business ideas, I began driving for major rideshare companies to support myself. What started as a side gig quickly became a passion. My background in coaching youth football and mentoring student-athletes taught me a valuable lesson: how you do anything is how you do everything. Over the following years, I noticed a troubling trend. The rideshare industry shifted away from service toward a gig mentality. Drivers faced shrinking pay, which discouraged investment in vehicle upkeep and customer care. The result was a decline in service quality:
